Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to grow our Waterproofing & Restoration division. This is a hunter role built for someone who thrives on building long-term relationships with commercial building owners and the consulting engineers who advise them.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy targeting commercial building owners and consulting engineers
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship cultivation
• Engage consulting engineers and specifiers to position Valcourt’s systems within project specifications (spec sales)
• Conduct site visits, assessments, and presentations to educate prospective clients on Valcourt’s waterproofing and restoration capabilities
• Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop competitive proposals and ensure seamless project handoff
• Represent Valcourt at industry events, trade associations, and networking functions
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in CRM
• Meet and exceed revenue targets and activity KPIs

What we’re looking for:

• Established relationships with commercial building owners and/or consulting engineers.
• Background in waterproofing, building restoration, roofing, building envelope, or a related specialty contracting or construction field
• Experience with specification sales or influencing project specs through engineering professionals
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with technical decision-makers
• Self-starter who can manage a territory independently while collaborating with internal teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in construction or facilities services will be considered
